1. The lighting principles of LED lights and fluorescent lights are different. The principle of LED lights emitting light is through the migration of electrons inside the semiconductor to produce light, and the entire light-emitting process does not generate any heat. The principle of fluorescent lamp lighting is to instantly generate high voltage through the ballast, so that the two pins inside the fluorescent lamp tube generate current, and then the phosphor will emit light, and the entire process of luminescence will generate a high amount of heat.
2. The brightness of LED lights and fluorescent lights are also different. The brightness of LED lights is higher than that of fluorescent lights. For high-quality LED lights, the light efficiency can reach more than 130lm/w, which is about 2 to 3 times that of fluorescent lights. In other words, the brightness of an 18W LED lamp is relative to the brightness of a 36W to 48W fluorescent lamp, so there is a certain difference in the brightness of these two lamps.
3. LED lights and fluorescent lights have different service lives. LED lamps have a longer service life than fluorescent lamps. Generally speaking, the service life of LED lamps can reach more than 50,000 hours. However, the service life of fluorescent lamps is generally only about 10,000 to 20,000 hours.
